Functional Chiropractic provides chiropractic care with functional medicine. The term functional medicine is not limited to the medical profession. Functional medicine’s primary goal is to find the cause of a person’s condition, correct it when possible, and improve it otherwise, so the outcome is optimal wellness, not just managed disease.
Our functional medicine evaluations typically look at the brain’s ability to control the body, blood sugar management, hormonal balance, inflammation, immune function, digestion, cardiovascular function and risk assessment, cellular energy, toxicity levels, and many others.
What an evaluation includes
- Review of your records and prior studies
- Functional medicine review of labs, with specialty labs when they are useful
- A physical, functional medicine, and chiropractic examination
The point is not a longer list of complaints. It is a clearer picture of what is driving them. Brain and nerve control matter here. If those systems are not working well, getting well is harder.
