Dr. John Rees, DC, CFMP, has been in practice since January 1983.

He specializes in difficult cases where the diagnosis has been unclear, or treatment has not held. He is the owner of Functional Chiropractic in Milton, Delaware.

Dr. Rees did his undergraduate study at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and attended chiropractic college at Logan College of Chiropractic, now Logan University. He graduated in December 1982 and began practice in January 1983.

Postgraduate work includes 200 hours in rehabilitation and 100 hours in the management of motor vehicle accidents and temporomandibular joint problems. In 2014 he completed a 200-hour certification through Functional Medicine University and earned the title Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Functional Medicine University is sponsored by Southern California University of Health Sciences.

The work at Functional Chiropractic is chiropractic care with functional medicine: find the cause when possible, improve what can be improved, and aim for optimal wellness rather than managed disease.
